Accreditation

From 2006-2102, EADS was the only Washington adult day services provider accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) — an independent, international, nonprofit accreditor of health and human services providers.

In the summer of 2012, EADS’ Board of Directors voted to shift from accreditation to the more rigorous standard of statistically verifiable continuous improvement. In 2013, EADS will adopt the National Institute of Standards and Technology’s “Criteria for Performance Excellence”. This shift is an important step towards EADS’ goal of becoming a truly elite, world class service provider.
